Power Amplifier for Point-to-Point Radio: MAAP-008924
M/A-COM
Tech’s MAAP-008924 is a 3-stage, high linearity 1.2 W GaAs
power amplifier for point-to-point radio applications packaged in a 5
mm, 20-lead PQFN. It provides a high output IP3, while
maintaining low DC power consumption. MAAP-008924 operates
between 10GHz and 13.3 GHz, allowing it to be used as a power amplifier
stage or as a driver stage in high power applications.

6-Bit
Digital Attenuator: MAAD-000523
M/A-COM
Tech’s MAAD-000523 is a 6-Bit, 0.5 dB digital
attenuator for 50 Ω systems,
operating between the 0.7 GHz – 6.0 GHz frequency range. This
attenuator is ideal when high accuracy, low power consumption, and low
intermodulation products are required. It includes
an integrated TTL/CMOS compatible
driver, and offers parallel and serial control with a power-up state
function. Packaged in a Lead-Free 4 mm 24-Lead PQFN Package, the
MAAD-000523 has small relative phase variation per bit, and achieves an
insertion loss of 1.6 dB at 2 GHz. The attenuator features a typical
input return loss of 18 dB up to 6 GHz.

M/A-COM
Tech makes two additions to its family of switches for cellular
infrastructure applications. Operating from
0.01 GHz - 4.0 GHz and packaged in an industry standard 4mm 24-Lead
PQFN, the MASW-010350
is a high isolation single pole four throw (SP4T) switch, while the
MASW-010351
is a high isolation single pole five throw (SP5T) switch.
With a symmetric circuit design utilizing M/A-COM
Tech’s GaAs pHEMT technology and an integrated CMOS decoder,
both switches maintain an excellent combination of low insertion loss
and high isolation for all states. The new switches are designed to
lower the system complexity and reduce the bill of material cost by
replacing multiple single pole double throw (SPDT) switches. These
switches are ideal for band switching in multi-channel and multi-mode
base-station applications.

M/A-COM
Tech’s new VCOs are ideal for point-to-point radio, point to
multipoint radio, communications systems, and low phase noise
applications. These VCOs meet the high performance requirements of high
capacity digital radios by optimizing for low phase noise, wide tuning
range, and low current consumption.
