The Walker Building at 100 Chelmsford Street is the corporate headquarters for M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc. This facility fabricates Gallium Arsenide and Silicon-based components.

The building is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified, and has 157,000 square feet of which 21,000 sq. ft. is manufacturing space and 24,000 sq. ft. is wafer fab space.

The Hale Street facility is a new product development center focused on ICs and IC based multi-chip modules. Located on the same campus as the Walker Building in Lowell, MA, this state-of-the-art development center houses a fully-equipped RF and microwave laboratory, design engineering, product engineering and our global quality control team. Working together within this structure, these teams are able to take new product design from start to finish.

M/A-COM Tech currently occupies 60,000 square feet, of which 5,000 is dedicated to working labs.

Santa Clara

The Santa Clara Design Center, occupying approximately 11,600 square feet, has business and engineering offices and a 1200-square-foot engineering lab for R&D and sustaining engineering. Primary functions include engineering design support and Product Line Management supporting the Component Product Line and New Business Development efforts, which cover a wide array of catalog and custom applications. The engineering design center supports R&D for various products within M/A-COM Tech from IC design for various markets as well as component design for the Commercial/Industrial and Aerospace and Defense markets. The Santa Clara Design Center is located near the San Jose International Airport and is across the street from Santa Clara University.

It is well equipped with the latest CAD software, automatic assembly tools and test and measurement equipment to design a range of ICs and modules for the Satellite Communications, Point to Point Communications, and Radar components markets.

Our Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) Design and R&D facility in Sydney, Australia, occupies 2,700 square feet. Employees here focus on point-to-point radio and radar applications. The R&D focus is on millimeter-wave design for transistor modeling and point-to-point radio MMIC. The facility has a clean room with three probe stations, a custom packaging facility, and four microwave/millimeter-wave measurement labs.
